Just like every other system in a home, your water lines need to be regularly maintained. We recommend annual checkups from one of our experts.
Here are just a few of the things we look for during an inspection:
- Weaknesses in the pipes.
- Decreases in water pressure
- Periodic banging or knocking of the pipes.
- Sediment build-up that could lead to a problem in the future.
A water line break can be a very serious problem that results in severe damage to your home. Even a small leak, left undetected can become a breeding ground for mold and damage the home’s structure.
It’s import to schedule regular maintenance by a licensed plumbing specialist to help prevent leaks from happening in the first place.
From leak detection in your home or business plumbing lines to main line water leak detection, we have the tools to tackle the projects our customers present to us. If any of the pipes in your home have a leak (including gas pipes), give us a call.
Water Line Repair
Before working on your water line, we will investigate whether it makes sense to repair the line or if it is better to replace the entire pipe. The most important factors we take into consideration when resolving a water line leak are the materials, the age of the pipe, and what kind of previous repair the pipe has received.
There are a lot of old houses around the valley and a lot of them have plumbing that breaks!
